Payal + Nathan’s Springfield Country Club Wedding
When I first met Payal + Nathan at their home in DC last year I knew I had found a special couple. The story of their first meeting was simply too amazing.
It all started when they lived in the same apartment building. One of those large apartment buildings where you can go years without meeting all of your neighbors. They both lived there, unaware that within those walls was the person they would marry.
One day, Payal was in the process of moving out. Nate saw her and took a chance at fate. He asked her out in the last minutes on the last day of her living in the same building. The rest, as they say, is history.
Their wedding day was a reflection of them. Two beautiful ceremonies (and a seemingly endless string of outfit changes, makeup touchups, and hair styling, reflected their culture and backgrounds). Two groups of families and friends coming together to celebrate a couple that fate had smiled upon. Two people I’m honored to know.
Oh, and the staff at Springfield Country Club did a great job the entire time – no small feat given the length and complexity of the day.

For most occasions, I would tend to argue that pictures rarely “do the event justice.” However, that argument is proven wrong here. Amazing pictures for an amazing celebration. Thanks for sharing.

The pictures turned out beautiful.

The pictures are FABULOUS!! (But you already knew I would say that didn’t you, David?) Your personality was exactly the type of thing that was needed for any Maid of Honor on such a busy day to remind me to stop, slow down, and laugh at the craziness that can only come from a double wedding! Thanks so much for an amazing day–your humor was much appreciated!

Nice job with lots of difficult lighting; I like the creative angles a lot, too. David, if you’d like to see what that 7D I was using during the ceremonies does for video, stop by http://www.youtube.com/my_playlists?p=1DCD4A59104DA99A

Incredible photos David, you did a fantastic job. I remember watching your slide show during the reception – and as much as I wanted to go back to the dance floor, just couldn’t stop viewing picture after picture. Thanks for capturing the event just as it occurred!

Dave, thanks so much for the wonderful photos of Nathan & Payal’s wedding day! My cart is currently a work in progress as I enjoy my “daily viewing” of ALL the photos! It was amazing to me how quickly and unobtrusively you worked, capturing the love and excitement of the day! The sneak preview of photos at the reception was also a special treat! (A mother can never get enough, you know!) I would highly recommend you to anyone seeking a truly professional photographer!

Nathan & Payal:
Congratulations and best wishes to both. I sincerely, apologize for not being able to attend your wedding as I had to travel abroad. However, your dad did fill me in with all details upon return. I was glad and was extremely happy to learn that the wedding was gorgeous, magnificient and went smoothly as planned and both sides had a fabulous time. And last but not the least the photographs are wonderful.
I hope to meet with both of you sometime in the near future.
Regards
