Amanda + Matt at the Valley Green Inn

Categories: Wedding

I recently had the chance to photograph the wedding of my friends Amanda + Matt at the beautiful Valley Green Inn.

I’ve known Matt for many years, so it was particularly special for me to be there as their photographer. Their day was a reflection of them – laid back, down to earth, and real. Even the less than stellar weather wouldn’t get them down!

As father of the groom, I will probably sound quite biased, but I could not have imagined a more perfect setting for Matt and Amanda’s wedding, despite the horrid weather. Someone must have been looking down on them because the clouds parted for a little while, allowing for a few great outdoor photos as well. I must admit that I got a bit choked up the first time I saw the slide show…extremely happy for the beautiful bride and groom who were beaming in most of the photos, proud of the three boys that Marje and I raised, and gratified beyond words for the wonderful family and friends that surrounded us on this most special day. David Z. captured the atmosphere, the mood and the emotions of the day perfectly; the photos are a treasure trove of memories that will last a lifetime! Thanks to all that joined us on October 17 and helped us celebrate this joyeous event.

These photos are fantastic!! I was just married a mere 3 years ago and my photographs, are lovely, but NOTHING like this! David you did a wonderful job! I will gladly recommend your work to whomever I can. Matt & Amanda, you both looked happy and these photos definately captured that. Despite the weather, it all came together beautifully, and now you are happily Mr. & Mrs. :)

One comment that has consistently been made by the people have have viewed the slide show is that they feel like they were there. This is a tribute to the variety of photos and the perspective from which they were shot. Definitely a job well done.

As mother of the groom, I am pleased that my son, Matt, and his wife, Amanda, will have such an accurate memory of the emotion and celebration of their love on their wedding day.

Matt & Amanda could not have picked a better photographer, Dave was outstanding. He captured the feeling of the wedding, which is what Amanda wanted. After viewing the slideshow and composing myself I was very proud to be her Aunt and be a small part in this beautiful day.

Thanks Dave for a job well done!

A very special day for two of my favorite people. Vally Green was the perfect setting for Matt & Amanda’s wedding with fall foliage, and a little stream with ducks ( no less). They where surrounded by loving, caring family and friends.
Daivd your photographs captured the true beauty of the day.
As grandmother of the bride, I will cherish the memories and these wonderful photos. Thank you.
